Brooke Van Natta, Student Therapist
Brooke is currently a Master’s student at Naropa University in the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program. She previously completed a Master’s degree in Engaged Humanities with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana University. She also has training as an end-of-life doula, a laughter yoga leader, and a Levels 1 and 2 Qi Gong teacher.
Brooke’s approach is present-centered and client-led, helping clients to recognize maladaptive strategies that keep them from living a deeper, richer life. She is dedicated to creating a safe and judgment-free environment to foster curiosity and acceptance in those she works with. She sees therapy through a transpersonal lens, as an opportunity to explore the whole person, including body, mind, spirituality, and relationships to others and the larger world. She is drawn to working with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and meaning-making. Brooke enjoys reading, teaching Qi Gong, singing solo and in Threshold choir, hiking and exploring nature. |
Brooke accepts private pay ($50/session), Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, Kaiser, CO Access, CCHA and RMHP Medicaid Insurances.
