Katelyn Miranda (she/her) is a second-year graduate student in Naropa University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, with a concentration in Somatic Body Psychotherapy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Applied Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara.
Katelyn is dedicated to creating a warm, kind, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported to be their full selves. She has a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, grief, and life transitions. She also loves working with teens, young adults, and highly sensitive people. Her therapeutic lens is rooted in somatic body psychotherapy, and honors the innate wisdom of the body as a guide to healing. She weaves together perspectives from Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and arts-based practices, infusing her work with creativity, humor, and care. Katelyn brings a rich professional background, including her experience as a residential mental health counselor for adults with severe mental illness, and extensive work with children and families. She is also trained in 200-hour yoga teaching and Capacitar Multicultural Wellness Techniques. Outside the therapy room, Katelyn enjoys nature walks, singing in her car, cooking for her friends and family, and petting any animals she can find. |
Katelyn accepts private pay ($50/session), Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, Kaiser, CO Access, CCHA and RMHP Medicaid Insurances.
