Kelly Farah (she/her), MA, LPCC

Picture
In moments when the emotional load feels too heavy to carry alone, Kelly offers the support you need to embrace the messiness of being human, while helping you cultivate your own sense of agency and power.
During these deeply challenging times, where connection, introspection, and slowing down are often overlooked, it is Kelly’s passion and honor to hold space for her clients as they navigate growth and healing.

Creating an inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals is central to Kelly’s practice, and she enjoys working with clients to explore all aspects of identity. With a background in using a Health at Every Size approach, she is also committed to supporting clients in navigating complex relationships with body and food.

Kelly views mental health through an attachment and systems lens and believes that bias, oppression, and discrimination in our cultural and political climate contribute significantly to mental health challenges. Her practice often includes uncovering and better understanding the effects of these social factors, challenging widely accepted ideas, and helping clients embrace their unique identities and step into their power.

Working collaboratively with her clients, Kelly fosters a safe and nurturing environment that promotes self-exploration, healing, and growth. She believes everyone deserves an ally to help navigate the trials and triumphs of their human experience.

In her free time, you can find Kelly spoiling her two pups, digging through thrift shops, exploring local trails with her partner, connecting with friends and family, working on projects around the house, or practicing yoga.

Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado and a National Certified Counselor. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is trained in EMDR, currently working toward full certification.
