They earned their Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Maryland Global Campus. Sam served 8 years in the United States Navy as a language analyst. They are neurodivergent and passionate about supporting clients to find wellness in a society that isn’t always designed for them to thrive.
Sam is interested in how stress and trauma is stored in our bodies and how we can sequence it out through movement and other creative outlets. Sam is dedicated to co-creating a safe container with clients where they can be authentic and vulnerable. They are honored to support clients in moving through pain and using their strengths to find healing. Sam’s clinical interests are neurodivergence (especially autism and ADHD), 2SLGBTQIA+ identity exploration, masculinity, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, disability support, and somatic healing. In their free time, Sam loves to dance joyously without rhythm, stretch in their backyard, find ways to hang upside-down, create art, and spend time with friends and animals. They love gonks. |
Sam accepts private pay ($50/session), Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, Kaiser, CO Access, CCHA and RMHP Medicaid Insurances.
