Kelsey McCamon, MA, LPC
Kelsey (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. She is passionate about fostering trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship to allow for clients to say and feel what is true of their experience, rather than what they feel they “should”. By honoring all parts of ourselves and extending curiosity rather than shame, Kelsey guides clients to greater connection with themselves.
Kelsey works with teens and adults and integrates a variety of approaches to tailor interventions to each unique client. She encourages a collaborative approach to ensure that the clients’ preferences and goals are honored. Kelsey invites clients to bring and explore their identities in the therapeutic space— to consider how they may have been impacted by cultural and societal pressures and oppression. With an ongoing pursuit of learning and growth, Kelsey works to approach topics with humility and gentleness. Outside of her passions for therapy, Kelsey loves spending time in nature and going for walks with her partner and pup. Having grown up mostly on the East Coast, she has an ever present longing to be near the water and is always eager for an opportunity to do almost anything water-related. Kelsey is a self-proclaimed foodie, loves plants, SNL, animals, art, reading, and getting to be creative. |
